This place is oustanding. obviously a mother and pop place, where they are great proud of the eating they prepare. it's not almost food. the sopes, carnitas and streettacos are all really wonderful. I live in franklinville and could not be happier taqueria la patrona is in the city.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The three of us tried the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce, the shrimp burrito, guacamole, and the ground beef burrito. Everything was perfect—full of flavor and perfectly moist. We’ve definitely found our new favorite spot for authentic Mexican cuisine!

Ok, I'm a picky guy with Mexican food, and I'll only give a joint a five star if I believe they are really hitting the food mark. I had their homemade chips and guacamole and El pastor tacos, Mexican style. This place offers a very tasty corn taco by the way. Their chips, guac, and tacos were top of the line in flavor. The place isn't much to look at, but the food is bangin'. They are now on a growing list of recommended Mexican joints for me. Very nice cooking happening here,
