Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant offers an exceptional twist on fried chicken. The Asheville Hot with mac and cheese waffles was outstanding, featuring some of the most tender and juicy chicken I've ever tasted. The homemade pickles were a delightful addition, perfectly tangy and sweet. The fried green tomatoes and grits with goat cheese were also fantastic. Our only regret was running out of room for dessert! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Denise, who ensured our dining experience was unforgettable. If you're looking for amazing Southern cuisine with a unique flair in a cozy atmosphere and a warm community vibe, this is the place to be!
It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a brunch outing filled with delicious food and drinks. I ordered a Bloody Mary, but unfortunately, it wasn't to my liking—maybe just a shift in my taste buds. However, they quickly swapped it for a blueberry lavender mimosa, which was incredibly refreshing! I highly recommend trying that or the blood orange margarita; both are fantastic and not overly sweet. For my meal, I chose the Avocado Toast with Eggs, and it was bursting with flavor. The honey drizzle with sriracha on the avocado spread was an absolute game changer. Overall, I would definitely recommend dining at this place; it will leave a lasting impression.
Once we were seated, I ordered the chicken BLT, which was average at best. I also tried the chicken and waffles. While the waffles were delicious, the chicken—something they pride themselves on—was not very impressive. On a positive note, I did enjoy the fried pickles as an appetizer; they were fantastic. I’m open to giving it another shot, but only if they can offer what they advertise on their website.
It's one of the best chicken n waffles I have ever eaten. Farm-fresh ingredients and beautifully served. Also had the fried cauliflower and Brussels sprout all outstanding. Staff was excellent and helpful. The atmosphere was beautiful and nicely decorated. If you are ever around Nashville and can make it to Franklin, I highly encourage you to visit.
The winner was the bourbon glazed meatloaf it was fantastic. I would have given it a high rating but for the strangest experience. The gentleman running food made a very odd comment about my mother in law. Something to the effect “you gonna eat all that” regarding the chicken plate. She explained she was sharing it with my daughter. But it put the whole table off. Later thinking about it, does this guy not know females at all. You make some weird comment about how much food on plate. The food was great but the experience was a real bummer.
