Siam Pad Thai - Franklin

I ordered four curries and specifically requested that no spices be added. Unfortunately, the curries I received were extremely spicy, and I had to throw them away. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, the only solution they offered was a small discount on my next order. Additionally, the curries were very watery and lacked the coconut milk that you typically find in authentic Thai restaurants. Overall, I was quite disappointed.

The broth was bland and didn't resemble the typical pho broth. There was no soy sauce or other spices provided with the delivery.

The food was unpleasant gland. The pad Thai and pad Ki Mao mostly tasted noodles. Not peanut or basil, just noodles.

I've been visiting Siam Pad Thai for five years, but since the pandemic, I've noticed a decline in portion sizes, service, and overall quality. I would recommend trying a different restaurant, as my last three experiences there have been quite disappointing!

Updated May 3, 2022: Still awesome food, and still friendly and efficient service even though they are clearly short staffed and very busy. Tremendous kudos to the front and back staff as it's got to be challenging providing quality food and friendly service for a lot of dine-in customers and to-go orders! Updated Aug. 19, 2021: Tonight got takeout, and the food is as delicious as usual, made fresh to order and still very generous portion sizes! Very tasty food with very generous portions, and absolutely loved and appreciated their focus on COVID protocols!
