Los Primos - Franklin

I ordered the carnitas plate, which came with rice and beans, and I decided to add a tamale. They also provided a generous stack of tortillas to accompany the meal. The meat was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. My tamale was moist and flavorful, not at all dry. I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch to anyone!

I always make it a point to visit Los Primos whenever I'm in Franklin. The food is exceptional and fairly priced, and it comes out quickly. The staff is incredibly friendly, and they also have a great selection of grocery items.

This taqueria is located inside the market and maintains a decent level of cleanliness. There’s a small area for baked goods and a spacious section for dining in, if you prefer that option. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and fully bilingual, which made it easy for me to ask questions about the menu since I don’t speak Spanish. I ordered one steak taco and one chicken taco, accompanied by rice and beans. I would rate Los Primos 5 stars for portion size and value; as you can see in my photo, my takeout tray was overflowing, and I only paid a little over $8. Although the atmosphere isn't particularly upscale, sometimes it's those little hole-in-the-wall places that really impress. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience; even though I received a generous portion, I found the food to be lacking in flavor. It wasn’t bad, but I’m not sure I would go back.

I'm glad I don’t live nearby, or I’d definitely be twice my current size! The food at this place is genuinely authentic and absolutely delicious. If you’re in the area and craving some great food, definitely stop by and indulge!

This charming little market offers a limited but fresh selection of produce, delicious pastries, mouthwatering desserts, a butcher shop, and a small restaurant serving delectable dishes like carne asada, barbacoa, chicken, al pastor, and more. I highly recommend it for a quick meal or a fast grocery stop. I will definitely return whenever I'm in the area!
