Jp's Tickle-my-ribs Bbq - Franklin

The BBQ pulled pork and brisket is amazing!! We also really love their piggy mac as well! You get a very good amount of food for the price you pay. We always recommend this BBQ joint to anyone who has never tried them before!

I’m on the Franklin Blues and Barbecue Festival committee with Jay, the owner of Tickle-my-ribs BBQ. Since 2015 we’ve had a yearly festival that includes area BBQ vendors. Jay’s booth always has a long line of people waiting to buy his products. Recently he opened a store front in downtown Franklin. My family has enjoyed his take out and home delivered meals, all delicious, many times. Frankly, I feel his Pulled Pork and BBQ are the best I’ve ever eaten anywhere. His meals are tasty, wholesome and plentiful. Another reason Franklin is someplace special !

When I recently traveled to Franklin this fall I found this hidden gem! It was so amazing we ate there twice in our 4 day visit. The Cole Slaw and Baked Beans were possibly the best I have EVER had. The pulled pork and BBQ ribs were tender and full of flavor. I highly recommend stopping in for a great lunch or dinner. They also have a very convenient to go window off the parking lot for an easy take away meal.

We also ordered some takeout meals for family members, who also enjoyed their pulled pork sandwiches and sides. The restaurant is located at the back of a building within a complex of other shops. There’s a small arcade with seating available where you can relax while you eat. It’s tucked away from the Main Street shops, so I had no idea it was there until I stumbled upon it. I’m glad I did! Be sure to check out the bakery, dog store, and taffy shop while you're there!

My partners and I all had lunch at Jay’s Tickle-My-Ribs BBQ at the Liberty Building Vault shopping area. We loved all of the fabulous BBQ and sides. We had ribs, pulled pork, chicken and brisket with slaw, beans, Mac’N’Cheese and seasoned rice. What a treat! The staff was friendly and focused on making us happy. Everyone wore face coverings and the tables were spotlessly clean. It was a great lunch and I recommend that everyone go by and do the same! The restaurant has walk-up windows for ordering as well in the rear parking lot area. I spoke with Jay afterwards to tell him how much we enjoyed lunch. He is a great guy and every person in Franklin should go by and try his BBQ this month.
