Irons Steakhouse - Franklin

Total, incredible culinary experience. I will begin with the only three mistakes and then end up on a good note. first there was a gentleman at the bar who had much too much to drink, or perhaps something else that had to be helped. not the fault of the eatery, but still taken away from the experience. second, one of the items my wife ordered was Steak-Fritten. they were well boiled, but the fat had obviously not changed in a time because what we thought was on the frying, turned out to be old, burned remains of earlier cooks, making the fries simply taste like burned frying, though they did not. and finally they had 4 treads, but only one was functional, and it was stella artois. as a craft beer fan, I was looking forward to the craftsmanship selection, but that had no, and I ended up with michelob ultra. now for the good to do! our filled mushroom cup was good, but could use a hauch more spicy. the nativity and havarti were the most important aromes here and through beautifully shown, and the sauce was a good supplement. the burger of my wife was “one and delicious!” I ordered the new york strip boiled medium, as well as the brown butter risotto. the steak was phenomenal, although it was well closer to the medium than medium. the seasoned and crust on the steak were very tasteful and delicious, with the fat well made. my risotto was probably the star of the night. boiled beautiful, and well seasoned, I will order it again definitiw. alex, our server, was friendly and very helpful. he did a good job to be attentive without being overwhelmed and allowing us time to enjoy our meal. overall the positive ones outweigh the negative ones, and we look forward to our next visit.

Very good as always ....just a little busy last night and getting drinks was just a little slow ...but like always very good

The salmon I ordered was over cooked and dry. I wasn’t a fan of the sweet yellow sauce that accompanied it. Husband got prime rib which was very good. The asparagus however were extremely big, not tender, and tasteless. We smelled a bit smoky when we left. I don’t think anyone was smoking in the restaurant but smoke came in from the gambling area outside.

Delicious filet! It was cooked to perfection!! The service was geat so was the bartender!!
