Ristorante Romanella

When a colleague recommended this restaurant, we were warned that the decor is tacky (colleague was spot on), but assured that the food and service were good (colleague was wrong).I am not sure I have ever suffered service as slow as this.To add insult to injury, the food was sub-par, too. I had pasta with a cream sauce; the sauce was split.Won't be going back.

Nice place not far from where I stay. The pizza was excellent and tasty. Good service and attentive.

We grabbed a few takeaway pizzas while staying close by to Romanella. The people are friendly and the quality of pizza is good, I liked the quite bizarre Bismarck I had while the rest of our group were happy with their more traditional choices. It's a very good neighborhood Italian with a relaxed atmosphere and decor that's not very inviting.

We enjoy always this restaurant with friendly service and tasty food. Regular menus are quite typical Italian, however you are able to enjoy seasonal foods if you chose from weekly menu. Everything is fine, you might satisfy if you don't expect too much.

We've been to Romanella several times now and we always enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere, and the delicious food and wine. We tend to go for pizzas and pastas, although the salads are also good and they offer a selection of meat and fish main courses that we haven't got round to trying yet. Overall, it's a reliable, good value restaurant and we will no doubt keep visiting for as long as we live in Frankfurt!
