Port City Smokehouse - Frankfort

We always stop whenever cycling through Frankfort. Lots of smoked fish varieties. On this visit I had a perch sandwich with fries. The perch excellently prepared and served and served on a soft pretzel bun. Too much Ben and not enough fish though. The fries were some of the best ever. I’d just get fish and chips next time to skip the bread.

We called in a takeout order for a whitefish sandwich, walleye sandwich and fries. They were excellent. They offer plenty of outdoor tables. Highly recommend.

What a great place for her seafood. smoked fish is the best and their dives are delicious. we had lunch and then took some of the smoked fish home. the personal was friendly and could see that they knew a lot of masters. will definitely be back to visit.

Excellent fish chips (tried both blue gill whitefish). Smoked fish trout pâté are wonderful too. Ribs were good, but a little too chewy for my liking.

This restaurant is amazing. They serve large smoked fish, fresh fish, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, and fried fish for both lunch and dinner. You can dine outside on their terrace with views of the bay. The prices are very affordable. You won't leave hungry or disappointed.
