Bidrage med feedbackAte here when I was looking for a cheap but good lunch, during my househnt in the area. Never disappointed. Friendly family run bar restaurant always full of locals. Excellent steak frites!
This place is a one stop shop that supplies the locals with fuel for their vehicles, a shop, a cafe bar and a restaurant! I met some friends for the Le menu du midi, good value for money, with four courses and coffee, the starter is a help yourself salad, followed by a main of the day, then cheese and desert, very nice and the staff/owner are very attentive. I think they also do a takeaway pizza service.
Le menu du midi est exceptionnel au prix de 13 Euros (boisson compris). Un buffet d'hors d'oeuvres avec un choix important, une bavette saignante (exactement comme commande), fromage, et puis un excellent Gateau Basquais. On a bien mange, et l'accueil etait tres sympa! Great food and excellent value for the lunchtime menu at 13 Euros including a quarter litre of wine per person. A great buffet of starters, followed by a steak, cooked exactly to order, then a cheeseboard, and to finish an excellent home-made Gateau Basquais. A very friendly place where we were made very welcome. We will definitely visit again.
A petrol station, restaurant, cafe bar, small community shop and pizza takeaway all in one. Plain, maybe bland, interior decor but at same time quirky and compelling atmosphere. Visited several times while staying with ex-pat friends. The French family who own the place have limited English but are incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly if you make any effort to communicate. Reliably fresh and well-priced draught beer, good coffee, often busy and buzzy on weekday lunchtimes with local workers stopping for food. Good trade in ex-pats during late afternoon and evenings. Awesome pizzas!! Typically open 7 days a week. A really good place which deserves your custom.
Nice, pleasant lunch. Well presented buffet starter followed by boudin noir and mash. Good cheese board selection and fine desserts. Very edible with lots of clean plates around.
