Skipjacks is the best seafood in Boston (just south of Boston) Management is top shelf and the team members work hard to make your experience the best it can be. Gillian did a terrific job on a very busy afternoon. The food including clam chowder, sea bass and sushi are some of the best of any restaurant in the city.

I have had very good experiences dining at Skipjack 's in the past. This visit just wasn 't very good, at all. I 'm not sure if it was just an off night at the restaurant but everything was off the food, service, order accuracy... everything. I usually enjoy coming here but this time around was just disappointing. I don 't think will be one of my area faves any longer :

Skipjack's is always outstanding. The Seafood is fresh, expertly prepared, and pleasingly presented . Peter the manager is outstanding, attentive, sincere, and is a true gentleman.

Our food was fine, although nothing special (and our orders were pretty standard fare). my date was unhappy with her desert , which the server noticed and offered to take it off the bill, an offer which we appreciated. Overall I'd say Skipjack's is OK, but nothing special and on the pricey side and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.
