Typically, we would dine at the Cook Saddle Cafe/Saloon, but after experiencing some disappointing coffee there, we decided to seek out another option. Betsey Jane was a clear alternative. The food was fantastic, and while the service was satisfactory, the staff appeared somewhat down and mentioned that it was surprisingly quiet for the school holidays. The on-tap beer selection was limited to just one option, but it was a great choice, so we were fine with that.

Venue was recommended by our accomodation provider as the best food in town and it sidn't dissapoint, it was a clean and tidy venue with friendly staff a warm fire and the food was yum. We had the baked brie, lamb shoulder ragout fish and chips no complaints, so delicious Service: Dine in

Very close to being the best food my partner and I have had in New Zealand. Fast and friendly service, and in a beautiful location. Would recommend to anyone stopping through Fox Glacier!
