Azteca's - Fountain Valley

They moved to 8610 Warner Ave in Fountain valley In the old Peruvian restaurant. Highly recommend!

A small restaurant with authentic Mexican food. The food quality is very good and I highly recommend. Service can be slow even when they're not crowded with customers. I suspect this is a kitchen issue. Some servers are more hopeful than others in recommending menu selection. The flavor is well-rounded with all the right spices without overwhelming the palate. I find the meat a bit tough to chew. So I didn't eat much of the meat and gave it all to my husband. The rest of rice, cheese and bean was the best combination even without the steak.

Tried this place several times. The food was always good but have child size portions, especially for the chips and salsa. The service was terrible to get more or anything for that matter (drink refill, etc. . It seems like they hide in the back because they would disappear for long periods of time.

The Albondigas soup is like a perfect meditation. When you're finished, your whole body feels rejuvenated!

This place is AMAZING! I ordered spicy shrimp dish and it was so good. I loved the spice and the flavor. I also asked for sour cream and I got ample amount of it. Y'all know how some places can be stingy with sour cream. Very friendly young man who helped me with my to go order. I love this place. Pls try as you won't be disappointed.
