Growler Haus Fountain Inn

I visited this restaurant with a friend who was visiting from out of town. It was a decent experience overall. The food was passable, but the main attraction is definitely the beer, which was quite good. The service was adequate, though it felt like the staff paid more attention to their regular customers.

Great selection of beers! The service was excellent—shoutout to Justine. The atmosphere has a very local vibe, which is fantastic. Just a heads up, don't come here expecting gourmet food; it's more about the beer. The menu feels a bit like hotel food you might find while traveling, but if you enjoy good brews and your kids are entertained, that makes it worth it. The wings were decent, and the boiled peanuts were a nice touch. The chicken nachos were alright too.

After establishing the Growler Haus name over the past year, we have decided to undergo a rebranding. Growler Haus Fountain Inn is now officially Fountain Inn Taproom.

I'm concerned about the cleanliness and health standards at this place. I'm relieved we settled our bill before these girls—who another patron mentioned are the owner's daughters—brought an animal inside. Additionally, I noticed that none of the three employees who were bartending and working in the kitchen washed their hands. As for prices, expect to spend around $30 to $50 per person.

This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere and a wide selection of beers on tap. The menu mainly features small appetizer dishes. They also had live music, which was a nice touch. Overall, it offers a lively pub experience rather than a formal sit-down dining option. Service: Dine-in Price per person: $10–20.
