Auberge De Founex

Very beautiful establishment tastefully arranged between modern and traditional bistro. Attentive and pleasant service. Dishes prepared with care. If you come by coach, private parking. I'm going to go back... What are you waiting for to have a good time...

We went there for dinner and the food was really stunning. We appreciated the offer of locally produced wines (Dutruy) and filets de perche. Would go there again immediately !

Wonderful small auberge located in a picturesque location not far from Geneva and the airport. If you're in town for business and looking for a quiet place to stay that's a little out of the way, I can't recommend Auberge de Founex enough. The staff here is not only incredibly friendly, but also competent our waitress was a veritable fountain of knowledge about local wines, and if stay here and don't try at least one of those, you're really missing out. The food is also locally sourced, fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is lively and familial as it appears the locals also know only too well where to go for good food in Founex.

We didn't stay, we went for lunch, and it was perfect. Outside on a sunny day we ate chase with all the trimmings, pear, apple, Brussels red cabbage, even little chestnut in honey and fresh homemade spatasli. Reasonable price for Switzerland, 34 francs. I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

A true auberge of the kind that are rapidly disappearing. Quality local dishes at a reasonable price in a wonderful setting. Too many auberges in the area have been taken over by owners that make over-priced fancy dishes in a refined setting. An auberge is not that. It should be a friendly place for common folk to come and eat, drink and meet without breaking the bank. I appreciate this place for that.
