Bramley Lodge - Fota

First visit a few weeks before Christmas with a few friends for a coffee and a scone. Nice atmosphere, good service, but won't be going back. A nice size decent scone but cup of coffee miserable to. the extreme,cup so small , about 5/6 mouthfuls and not even half scone eaten. Asked water if they provided a a refill, like asking for a loan of 50euros. Had to order two more coffees to finish scone. What a coffee rip off.

We had a beautiful breakfast here for 3 people. The food and coffee were fresh and hot. Great service by the male staff who were serving us. The setting is beautiful. Highly recommend.

We had a very enjoysble meal tonight. The staff were very friendly and attentive. There was a lovely atmosphere in the conservatory. Overall a great evening. My companions had the burgers, I had the monk fishjugion. I would recommend this restaurant.

While the food was ok, it wasn't anything exceptional. Eggs Benedict came with hollandaise over only one egg rather than both. Bread could have done with butter on it. Service had a hint of Fawlty Towers. €31.60 for two is a bit steep for what we got.

We went here for our first breakfast in Ireland. Poached eggs and tea were great. Not sure I'm sold on black pudding as a breakfast food but it was good! Very accommodating of our large group and stroller.
