Buri Tara Thai Cuisine - Foster City

This is the best Thai place for me on the west side of the bay under San Francisco. Very nice ambience, aromas are mild and allows you to add sauces as needed. I wish there was fresh basil with padthai. Overall, the quality is decent and worth the price.

Nice place to go for a Friday dinner in Foster City, as it is not crowded. I had the spicy Pad Kee Mow with beef and it was pretty good, though I expected to be honest, that there was a lot of syzier. Usually when Thai restaurants say something is spicy, they mean business. Be warned, the parts here are very big! Be ready to take the remains home.

I often came here as this is one good Thai restaurant. However, their food and service seem to be going downward in today's visit. We are surprised that the place is empty at the busiest lunch hour. There used to a line waiting which we didn't see today. Our hot tea is served lukewarm and my fork was forgotten. But the good side is that they accept American Express card.
