Since the weather has gotten milder, they have added a couple tents in the parking lot. The daily specials are secretly listed on the owners personal Facebook page. To order, one needs to comment on his page. Wednesday is Italian night, and knowing Jeff is Italian, I expected great food. It was. And cheap $12 for each entree! I had shrimp fra diavolo and my wife had shrimp limoncello, both over a creamy risotto. Our son had a meatball hoagie with cheese. All were succulent, as expected as Jeff 's a great chef. Tonight, Friday, I ordered wings and pierogi; my wife had crab cakes. I thought my deceased mother had made the pierogi they were that good. 6 for $6 smothered in butter and onions. The wings were meaty and very good. The crab cakes, only $6 each, were as good as they get. But getting back to the pierogi, Jeff must have some Eastern European blood in him or else he has an old Russian grandmother hiding in his kitchen on Friday.
Ordered pierogis and potato pancakes for our staff lunch today... Amazing. Thank You!
The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. It's truly one of the best hidden gems in NEPA.
I was a bit let down by the service during my visit. I arrived at 12:08 and was seated right away. I received my drink and the menu within two minutes, but it took 12 minutes for the server to come back and take my order. The restaurant is a family-run business and quite small. The burger I ordered was delicious and came with fries. While nothing about the experience stood out to me, I appreciate the value of supporting local businesses. If you have a chance, I recommend stopping by to give it a try.
In my latest video, I stopped by for lunch, and everything on the menu looked so tempting, all at very reasonable prices. I ordered the antipasto salad, and let me tell you, it was overflowing with ingredients—definitely no skimping here! This salad is so hearty that you could easily make a meal out of it. I also tried the meatball grinder, which was equally impressive. It came piled high with big meatballs, cheese, and sauce, all served on incredibly soft bread that tasted freshly baked. It was accompanied by a side of fries that were piping hot. During my visit, the diner was busy, so I didn't have a chance to ask about how everything is prepared. A couple of years ago, I also stopped in for breakfast and had a Philly omelet that was just as generous, served with home-fried potatoes and toast. But don't just take my word for it! Check out our video on our YouTube channel. Until next time, everyone—stay blessed and stay safe! youtu.be/5wepZ7X9qhg
