Bidrage med feedbackThis is a review of the quality of several menu items attwo Fort Wort TX fast food chains near me, Taco Bell and Taco Bueno.I was not paid to do this, I wanted to see if the same thinghas happened to the quality and quantity of these two chainrestaurants are similar to what I found when I did the samething 10 years ago to the same area Arby 's near my home. What I did was order 3 tacos and 2 beef and bean burritosfrom each store and both times I ordered was early beforelunch and just before the evening rush hour around 4:30 pm.I have to keep this short as I think there will be a limitof characters for any comments from each chain so I will bebrief and to the point.TACOS: I started with Taco Bueno as I had visited this storefor the last time around 2015 due to bad response from management about my complaints of cold food and lack of beef in my tacos. The tacos this time had beef and it seemed to be okay with the amount, lots of lettuce, some cheese and a topping of tomato. The crispy tacos stood up to the ingredients and the beef was not salty and seemed to have good texture, not watery.Taco Bell had a similar amount of beef, less lettuce and a verysmall scattering of cheese. The shells got wet from the textureas the beef was more watery and very salty. Little lettuce andcheese and no tomato. The last taco I ate was so wet, it had stuck the tortilla to the paper wrapper and broke apart when I picked it up.Taco Bueno took the prize for best tacos between the two, however for the price I won 't be going back again, like last time as the next review on the burritos has Taco Bueno last and sorry in quantity and quality.BURRITOS: Taco Bueno has almost no beef and more beans in it 's Super Burrito. There was no cheese to detect as I opened the second one to inspect, not one piece of cheese could be found. The small amount of beef gives this a thumbs down for MIA beef and cheese.Taco Bell had similar results but I could detect 2 pieces of cheese on the outside of the tortilla and was stuck to the paper, inedible. I did see on the second burrito there were pieces of raw onion, not known if it 's supposed to be cooked but it did lend some flavor to the burrito along with some crunch, some people may not like this. The lack of cheese was the same and this to I give a thumbs down for no cheese and the amount of beef was different from the first one which had more beef. So the amount of ingredients was inconsistent between similar burrito ordered at the same time.I have now written off both these stores and chains as I have better choices and healthier ingredients doing it myself and more than half the cost. Plus I am used to seeing burritos with sour cream, what happened to that? I hope you find this useful. Along with a ingredient nutritional menu, it would be nice to see if both would start giving customers a guaranteed amount of each ingredient confirmed by the food prepper using electronic scales to insure the right amounts of food are used in the order! As for me, I 'm saving money and going back to home cooking on most my meals. I 've been cooking since 1986 when I was divorced and learned to cook by watching Saturday cooking shows from 1986-1996 to impress the next wife... yes it worked. My chicken crepeswith Volute sauce and broccoli are to die for and I make my own crepes too!
I love the food. Came about 9:30 and the night crew is a joke. This is Sunday and everywhere else closes at 9, including my bbq restraunt. This is the time rush our will hit because they are the only one open. Drive through was to long so I order to go inside and you can't tell who is running the store because everyone has there own personal sweater on and head phones. Lady tells me 10 minutes max. I ask the female customer next to me how long she had been waiting. She said 30 minutes. This is ridiculous. The general manager here needs to be fired or understand in that position you work where is most needed. Lots of areas of opportunity with a better gm.
Horrible service. The manager Jada would rather be on her phone and taking hits off of a vape with her friends than take a order. And when she does take a order she's way too busy arguing yelling or texting through the order. Not to mention her horrible attitude. Is one of the dress codes mandatory to smell like weed? Because if so they all have it down. Would not eat here
It's Taco Bell, so i have very manageable expectations but it is still my favorite fast food.So it's quite depressing how consistently terrible the service is at this location and this is the third time in a row I've gotten completely wrong items.Impressive if it wasn't so sad.
They were quick a provided good service. The food was good but had a little more Chipotle ranch than expected.
