Republic Street - Fort Worth

I ordered the Cowtown Platter for two people. The amount of food was much for the price. The bride was okay. It was well cooked. The pig was wet, but on the salty side. The sausage was not a Bueno. It was really salty, and the cheeses in the sausage were hard. For the pages I ordered the Mac and cheese, corn and green. The Mac cheese was really blandy and watery. The cream of corn was salty, and the topped greens were hard and really salty. I really wanted to find a Texas BBQ place I like, but this place fell short.

Wow, this place is amazing! Panther City recently became 10. Best BBQ Spot in Texas (after Texas monthly) classified and I can see why. Your biggest problem here is that you want to try everything. The whole experience was fantastic. The lady at the reception was really friendly, and gave great recommendations to order. I ordered the Brisket, Ribs, the famous Brisket Elote Cup and a Pork Belly Jalapeno Popper. The Brisket and Ribs are both amazing (and the stars of the show in my eyes). Simply the best or 2nd best brisket I ever had (Terry Blacks is my other favorite). The Ribs were also Top 3 in my book (Joe's in Kansas City, Panther City, Terry Blacks). The Pork Belly Jalapeno Popper was great, it is basically meat candy filled in a jalapeno with cream cheese, packed in bacon The Brisket Elote cup was good, but I was so full at that time that I'm going most of this house. They are a full bar, interiors and a huge outdoor terrace with trees and protection. I'm sure this place will hit the weekends. I loved her BBQ sauce, but everything here is so good that you don't need a sauce. Large menu, many options. Very recommended if you love BBQ!

Finally, a chance to visit Panther City today was not disappointed! My order was quite simple — 1/2lb brisket, 1/2lb pigs belly burned ends, 1 Jalapeño cheddar sausage link, Mexican street corn, sharp Slav. Every bite was stellar! The only drop for me was that my in-law was not sharp at all. All in all, it is definitely worth a stop if you love good Texas BBQ!

I had a great time dining in here at Panther City. The brisket sandwich was unreal. The food is so good and the service was so fast. Definitely will be back again when I'm in Fort Worth.
