Bidrage med feedbackThe story of the original Reata Restaurant began with a hungry rancher from West Texas who craved truly great food. In 1995, Al Micallef, the owner of the CF Ranch, decided to satisfy that hunger by teaming up with Fort Worth businessman Mike Evans to open the first Reata restaurant in Alpine, Texas. This first location led to the establishment of the nationally recognized Fort Worth site, which bravely endured one of the most destructive tornadoes in U.S. history. Our crowning achievement, Reata at Sundance, opened in downtown Fort Worth in May 2002. It has been our pleasure to serve the wonderful people of Alpine and Fort Worth for the past two decades, and we look forward to many more successful years ahead! The service here is exceptional, provided by experienced servers who truly understand the art of hospitality. A visit to Reata will surely enhance your dining experience. Come and enjoy!
This restaurant is quite impressive. Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, it's certainly worth a visit. The service is excellent—probably some of the best I've experienced. The ambiance is also lovely, enhancing the overall experience. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5-star rating is that my steak was just average. Given the nearly $40 price tag, I was hoping for a bit more flavor and finesse in the preparation. Maybe I'm just being a bit particular! Regardless, I will definitely return!
I’ve dined at Reata twice, and both experiences were fantastic! The first visit was to celebrate a birthday, and I brought my baby along. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even surprising my mom with a birthday dessert. My second visit was to celebrate my anniversary, where our server, Alex, truly excelled. He was attentive, offered excellent recommendations, and even organized for everyone to sign a card for us. Our waters were replenished promptly, and we were frequently checked on. The food and drinks were delicious; I tried the bacon-wrapped shrimp, carne asada, a filet special, and salmon on a different visit. You absolutely have to try the dessert tacos—they're a must! I highly recommend Reata for any special occasion!
Food was great and the service was excellent. They have a wide selection of drinks. The view from the rooftop is amazing. The dome was a great dining experience for me as I have never experienced this ever in my life. However thanks to an amazing company I was fortunate enough to experience a great restaurant. The interior through out this place was unique. It resembled antiques and an upscale vibe.
We had the good fortune of meeting the owner Al while smoking a cigar before at three same time our group was telling us to meet them at Ruth Chris.... Ruth Chris? No no no, Al said go to his place and we will be well taken care of. Done. Table for eight! Done and done! Walked in and knew it was right. Huge as Texas and a fascinating menu with something for everyone! Al's son Mike took over and Destiny took such good care of our group. The must try's are: Fillet. Perfect Chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes fabulous Bacon wrapped shrimp... wow (and the fried onions underneath! Ice cream tacos!!! All in all a great meal! Thank you Al!!!
