Bidrage med feedbackI honestly try to be fair and give people the benefit of a doubt when doing reviews. I understand things don?t always go my way. Allow me to share our experience at Olivia?s on Sunday, August 7th at 3 pm in Keller , Texas. My wife and I live in Waxahachie,Tx. We have been looking for a good Italian place as my wife enjoys Italian food and I wanted to make her happy. We drove 90minutes to Olivas. We were seated promptly and were greeted nicely by our server, an elderly gentleman named Kenneth. Thingsstarted out good enough. He brought us our drinks quickly. We had questions about the menu. We ordered some appetizers, Doublegarlic cheese bread, some toasted tortellini and a small Ceasar salad. The Ceasar salad came out. Not bad but kind of small butok. No Double garlic cheese bread and no toasted tortellini. After a good 30 minute wait we reminded Kenneth that we were stillwaiting on our appetizers. He said it?s coming out soon. He then comes to our table and tells us that our entrees of The Triowill be out soon. He also tells us that the kitchen somehow forgot about our Double Garlic cheese bread and our toastedtortellini. He says he has them coming right away. As soon as they have them done he will serve them to us. We are about 70%into our meals when the Double garlic cheese bread comes out. No toasted tortellini. None. After bringing out the Double Garliccheese bread Kenneth disappears. A young man then proceeds to be our waiter. He finishes out our meal with us. We finish andpay out with him. Still no Kenneth. No apology from Kenneth. No attempt to offer us anything to make things right. At leastdon?t charge us for the Double Garlic Cheese bread which was a joke by the way (see pic of bread ! Joke). No sign of Kennethuntil I complete the bill and have left an undeserving 15% to Kenneth. See pic of bill. I wrote on the ticket ?Dissapointing?but I still tipped. I have included pics of our entrees. Drenched in marinara sauce I could not taste anythi
Brought the family by last Saturday for a non scheduled dinner and had an amazing meal. The atmosphere was great. Very family friendly with upscale vibes. The kiddos loved the books all over the place. Meals are priced appropriate along with drinks. Theyhave a pretty good drink menu. Between the 4 of us we had a plethora of food. Ravioli, manicotti, lasagna, and Olivia chickenwere the choices and it all was fantastic. Will definitely be going back again.
It was my first visit to the restaurant, and it was my wife's second. I ordered the clams in white sauce while she had the lasagna. We both started with the Caesar salad, which was excellent. We'll definitely be returning! I had my heart set on a calzone or Stromboli, but unfortunately, they don’t serve those or pizza based on what I saw on the menu; it’s more of a pasta-focused place. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
The ambience is fantastic, the service is exceptional, the food was incredible, and the drinks were delightful.
Always a delight! I never really paid much attention to Italian food until I tried Oliva. They serve fantastic Italian dishes. A little tip: no matter what the chef recommends...
