Loch Leven - Fort William

The hotel is ideally located on the road to the Glencoe sites (three sisters etc). Rooms are ok, not very comfy, “old” uk style (we stayed in the main building). We could hear very clearly the staff in the kitchen from the bathroom that was not a plus. Restaurant view is nice and food is good. Staff is doing the job. Rooms: 3 Service: 4 Location: 4

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I must say, it was fantastic. The atmosphere was very homey and the staff were incredibly nice and friendly. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was delicious. The dinner was also very tasty and reasonably priced. The bar was cozy and inviting. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to my friends. The rooms, service, and location all deserve a 5-star rating. The highlights of the hotel are its tranquility and great value.

The bar was nice. The restaurant did an excellent job on dinner. The room was nice enough. The staff were great, they were very kind and helpful. We had the worst experience at this hotel. Booked a twin share room with mobility access and walk-in shower facilities, only to be told on arrival that these rooms do not actually exist (although they are advertised). The hotel did not reply to my emails requesting room confirmation or dinner reservation and took full pre-payment from my credit card, which they unlawfully held details for. I explained that my elderly travel companion couldn't climb the steep staircase, negotiate several more to the back of the hotel (where our room was located) or climb in/out of the shower in a bath and that we simply could not stay there. My refund request was flatly refused, after it was denied that payment had actually been taken. The Duty Manager was rude, unsympathetic, deceitful and is totally unsuited for the hospitality industry. Avoid! Hotel highlights: Great view

I recently went to a Gin Experience at this restaurant. It was a lovely place and I will definitely be returning. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would give the service a 5 out of 5 and the location a 5 out of 5 as well.
