Proximo - Fort Wayne

I had the pleasure of dining here with my colleagues, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the dishes were truly authentic, made from scratch. We particularly loved the mushroom ash and the vegan mushroom barbacoa. While the prices were a bit on the higher side, the quality of the food made it worthwhile. To top it all off, the drinks were delicious as well! I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The drinks were great. The food was phenomenal. They were definitely different, but I suggest getting out of your comfort zone.

I waited to do a review for this place because my first experience was so absolutely ridiculous that I wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke. After eating here more than a few times I spent today eating brunch to see where it stands on my breakfast list. I can now say without a doubt this is my favorite restaurant of all time. I have eaten and done hundreds of reviews on Google and this one after ten years of reviews is the best. The staff is absolutely amazing, the chef is freaking ridiculously good and the management cares. The best part is everything is made from scratch and you can tell. I will be eating here on a regular basis. Also bonus tip: The smoked Old Fashioned is absolutely the best I've ever had in my life. The drinks are made with all bitters and I'm pretty sure syrups made by the bartender.

Proximo is an excellent choice! We savored the halibut along with shrimp and grits and risotto. Both dishes were outstanding and bursting with flavor. The service was also fantastic and very knowledgeable. For appetizers, we tried the grilled octopus with chorizo and Romesco sauce, which was another hit. We will definitely return. Be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible!

This restaurant is perfectly located in downtown Brunch, which was exactly what we were looking for. We didn't have a reservation, so we had to wait a bit, but it was absolutely worth it. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend checking it out. We’ll definitely be going back for dinner soon!
