Great find! A local hangout for friends and musicians. We were traveling from NJ to New Orleans, second night on the route. First night, bland dinner at Cracker Barrel. Tonight, a gem. Open mic night with three performers. Lots of talent and just plain fun. Food was good. The entertainment great. Loved it! I really wanted to like this place; it had a charming old country store vibe and featured live music. Unfortunately, the food was quite disappointing. I paid $16 for a slice of chicken lunch meat, some bacon bits, and melted white cheese served on a single piece of Pepperidge Farm bread. The rest of the food also appeared to be store-bought. On a positive note, the beer and the waitstaff were great, but I wish the overall experience had been better. Food: 1, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 3.
