This place is so cool! the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. the staff is friendly and helpful. the place is beautiful! this is not your dad's diner! it has beautiful sitting to the breakfast and lunch, but even more, it has wooden floors, leather couches and upbeat music. I went for a coffee while my wife was outpatient. I sat for hours when I was waiting. I only bought one (delict) cheese Danish and one coffee and they kept checking on me. the menu and the food coming looked delicious. I'm sorry I'm eating before I'm here!

Lovely place inside. Service was very poor. Had never been there before and was not told how to get coffee, just handed empty cups.(You have to get up and serve yourself we learned) Myself and 2 friends came for brunch. Food was mediocre. Our server never even checked if we needed anything or how our meal was. We left a tip but it really wasn't warranted.

We've been frequenting Sweet Bean for ten+ years. David and his team pay attention to detail. Everything on his menu is done to perfection. They offer a great variety of fresh ground coffee from around the world, which is also available for purchase. His cakes are out of this world- all made in-house. Expect to pay a fair price for a great product. And realize during busy hours, you may have to wait for 15-30 minutes. There is a reason locals frequent Sweet Bean- and you'll see the same faces over and over.
