La Trattoria Cafe Napoli - Fort Myers

La Trattoria Napoli, located on Cleveland Ave. in Fort Myers, FL, is truly a hidden gem. I started with a cup of wedding soup, which came with complimentary garlic bread and a delicious Espnol Taver-Galican style sandwich featuring chorizo, pork, bologna, and mozzarella cheese, accompanied by a chilled pasta salad. I was unfamiliar with the pasta salad, but it certainly delighted my taste buds and brought me so much joy. The crunchy roasted roll paired beautifully with the aioli and other ingredients. The wedding soup was a lovely mix of meatballs, beans, and pasta; it was mildly salty, although that might have just been my palate. I definitely should have opted for the bowl instead! Everything was so delicious! The combination of Italian and Spanish cuisine explains the popularity of this place. The service was excellent as well. While it may be a bit pricey for lunch, it's definitely worth it!

The restaurant is not where you would expect the quality we found. You go to another place, a different environment than the outside. Somehow not to judge a book on his cover. It is a beautiful casual place very beautiful, but not elegant. The food was very delicious, indeed and very beautifully presented. And the wine we had was smooth and rich in taste. Definitely worth a visit.

Food was as good as anything I've had in Italy or Spain. Sat at the bar and had great service from Gina. Catch of the day was so fresh and recommend the sevillana sauce. Keyboard guy was so good really added to the ambiance. A little hard to find in a strip mall but inside is so charming. Don't miss it!!

Super savory. Met friends at LTCN 5pm after a Sox game at Jet Blue Park. Local traffic was horrific, but what else is not to like about this unassuming spot with an inviting atmosphere and giant flavors. The tapas selections were well prepared, presented and delicious. The bl. grouper and red snapper entrees, stuffed raviolis and veal marsala were super savory. All dinners were served simultaneously to the respective diner without hesitation. Deserts were outstanding. We lucked out with an evening of fine dining!

This place was absolutely amazing, the food, the music and the service were excellent. We got all tapas articles and had dessert. The owner came to our table and since we were obviously fans of country music, we were dressed, the musician had a variety of great old country music. We were treated with the right amount of attention and the food came at a wonderful pace. Once an article was finished, there was a little time and the next one came. Dessert was a great surprise. The location in a Strip-Mall with a sticky massage salon, take Chinese and less then attractive tattoo shop added to the jewel in the hole in the wall effect.
