Lovers Key Beach Club Condos

This restaurant is one of my favorite places on Earth.

This resort is absolutely stunning! The views overlook the gulf and the sunsets are breathtaking. The private beach and pool are well-maintained and clean. The owner of our condo was very friendly and accommodating. It was convenient to visit Fort Myers Beach, shops, and Bonita Springs downtown. Lover's Key State Park was just across the street, offering easy access to hiking, biking, and kayaking trails. The gulf beaches were easily accessible and great for walking. I would definitely return in a heartbeat!

My wife and I stayed at this resort in July 2022 and had an excellent experience. The service was top-notch from the moment we checked in with the front desk agent, Sade, to the end of our stay. Both Sade in the morning and Sheri in the evening provided exceptional service to all guests. The resort is beautiful and the accommodations are perfect for couples or families on vacation, especially for longer stays. Our condo-style unit on the 12th floor had a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious bedroom with calming decor, a large bathroom, and a spotless shower. Housekeeping was meticulous and done upon request. The onsite waterfront restaurant, Flippers, offers a fantastic menu with the freshest fish on the island of Lovers Key. Chef Juan Cruz is hands-on and professional. The resort has beautiful grounds for morning walks and is close to Lovers Key Beach and the stunning Bonita Springs. We will definitely return and highly recommend this resort to all travelers visiting Fort Myers.

This place has suffered lately. it took over 20 min. to check in, because computers weren 't working, we found food left behind in our microwave and oven from previousguests, the pots/pans are very worn and resemble tin camping gear, the balcony paint was cracked and peeling terribly- icky looking, our room keys deactivated a day early, and they tried to charge me a $129 cleaning fee that didn 't apply to us. Very disappointed on this trip.

We rented a penthouse unit to extend our vacation and well we probably should have gone home. The unit was dirty, really dirty. We spent over an hour mopping and scrubbing, filled an entire trash bag with dirty towels and swiffer pads. AC could only be set to 74 and the sun quickly warmed the bedroom to 80+ shortly after sunrise. The pull out queen sofa wasn 't, it was a futon that was barely twin sized. The surfacing on the deck was peeled off to expose bare deteriorated concrete, and wow did the ants love it. The pool is small, definitely not resort level. We checked out after day 1 of 3 without refund. Lesson learned. The views are great, but that 's about it.
