Junkanoo Below Deck - Fort Myers Beach

Great beach bar and prime location in Fort Myers to watch the sunset. The Works Pizza was delicious with very fresh tasting ingredients. It will be packed quickly from two hours before sunset, so plan ahead for an outdoor table.

Fun and personable service from the waiter, George. The food was incredibly delicious and we were able to tell the restaurant used fresh sweet potatoes for our fries. Pleasant window view of the beach. Food pictured is the Junkanoo Steak Bomb

There are very few restaurants left in the Naples area where you can have lunch or dinner on the beach. Junkanoo and Doc's are the 2 closest to Naples that are sometimes worth the drive depending on the traffic. We went for Valentine's day in 2022 and had a decent meal with good service and took a little walk on the beach afterward. The sun sparkling on the water and happy tourists enjoying what we locals take for granted always makes this a fun place to hang out.

Was nervous because of a few reviews, but this place was excellent! Friendly. Great atmosphere. Great sunset. Great food. Grouper bites were tasty. Our son liked the pulled pork and husband liked the shrimp and scallop wrap. Enthusiastic two thumbs up!

I had a fantastic lunch today on the beach deck at Junkanoo. I ordered the Junkanoo Burger, and I can confidently say it's the best burger I've ever had. My friend chose the Patty Melt and was just as happy with their meal. Our drinks were excellent too; we enjoyed Long Island Iced Tea made with top-shelf liquors! Overall, it was a wonderful afternoon, and I highly recommend Junkanoo!
