Wild Sea Oyster Bar And Grille

What a beautiful dining room with excellent kitchen! The seafood cahowders, the scallops, the shells, oh, and the wedge salad were heavenly! I am from the San Francisco Bay Area and have eaten well in Chez Panisse, Mourad, Commis, Foreign Cinema and many more top rated restaurants, and The Wild Sea Oyster Bar and Grill is comparable if not better!

The food was a bit salty. But the service was great!

The food was overall good and moderate with the exception of the fresh oysters that were excellent, but really expensive! Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our dinner and will return safely on our next trip.

Mariah was our server, she was lovely. However, the atmosphere was very disappointing. It started with the host who was very unprofessional and borderline rude in my view. The faux leather chairs were all cracked from overuse, not a very good impression. Our table was a mess of puddles because our water glasses were sweating from the humidity. I had to ask for paper napkins to wipe our own table, which were provided, and our server thanked us for doing! When the tables around us were vacated, they were left dirty for the rest of the evening, not very pleasant surroundings. Finally the music seemed so inappropriate, didn’t create any more of a better vibe. The only saving grace was our salmon, which was good, but the quinoa fried rice was dry and tasteless. Won’t go back.
