Sushi Rock Las Olas - Fort Lauderdale

The sushi rock cafe service suck..they were trying to make me pay for an item of food I did not eat. There salmon skin roll was overcooked. And the waitress was yelled at me because I told her that I did not want to eat the item. She was very rude.

I live very close to Sushi Rock. I have ordered sushi take-out twice from them. The first time I arrived at the time they told me to, I ended up waiting 20 minutes for my food (only to realize when they finally gave it to me, that it was ready the entire time right behind them! no explanations no apology nothing. Despite that mishap I decided I’d give them a second chance this evening. This time I (attempting to be prepared arrived 10 minutes AFTER they told me my food would be ready. I again waited 15 minutes while they made my food. Again no explanation no apology. The food is mediocre and overpriced. Maybe dining in is a better experience but I don't think I'm going to try and find out.

Ordered $100 worth of Sushi takeout. Paid the bill and asked for spicy mayo. They asked for $1. We said we just paid $100 for sushi and the response was, "you don 't have a $1?” Food is good but the service is horrible. Rude and unfriendly. Sushi not that cheap, but the restaurant is!!

Having just moved here from the New York City metro area, I was accustomed to high-quality sushi restaurants. Having tried a few authentic Sushi Thai restaurants in the FL area, I tried Sushi Rock on both a Wednesday and a Friday night. Both nights it was extremely busy (the only downside is it isn 't large enough to accommodate the crowds , but both times it was great. Very nice staff (if you 're standing around waiting they will come serve you drinks, even outside , very colorful and creative sushi rolls, traditional Japanese beer and sake options, and a very cool atmosphere. (Ever heard MC Hammer playing while eating sushi? . Overall, the long wait is a downer, but they don 't rush you out once you get a seat. It 's a fun, high-quality sushi restaurant that doesn 't serve Thai food. A plus!

Food Poisoning! Enough said, however, you can also expect the ABSOLUTE worst customer service!
