Pinhos Bakery Deli - Fort Lauderdale

Don't visit this place just for the sandwiches, even though they are delicious. And don’t just come for the desserts and pastries, which are outstanding. YOU NEED TO COME HERE FOR THE EMPANADAS!!! I've been frequenting this restaurant for a while but had never tried their empanadas until yesterday—and wow! They are absolutely phenomenal. The pastry is incredibly light, and the fillings are warm and bursting with flavor. I sampled both the beef and the chorizo, and they were equally fantastic. Treat yourself to these empanadas, and while you’re there, grab a sandwich or something else from the menu. You definitely won't be disappointed!

I had the Ultimate Combo sandwich, which included ham, turkey, roast beef, and provolone cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. Lori was kind enough to give me a massive chocolate chip cookie as well. Everything, including the tasty sub rolls, is made fresh on-site. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return for more!

Very underwhelming. Starting with the exterior is it open? You won?t know until you find the one back door. Is it always under construction? Is there actually any food or people in there? It seems like it has a lot of potential to be a great bakery /bistro atmosphere but once you get inside it is just a counter and pastry case with a very little selection of baked goods,which so odd for well?? a bakery? The food is fine but not worth coming back for. I wish all the best to the owners, and hopethey end up utilizing the building, bakery, and kitchen to it?s fullest potential.

Upon entering, I received a warm welcome and was told, “We’ll be right with you.” As I looked around, I noticed an array of donuts, cookies, and pastries—what a treat! While waiting for my bacon, egg, cheese, and potato wrap, I observed that every customer who came in was greeted by name. It felt like the friendly atmosphere of Cheers. The wait wasn't too long, and they kindly gave me a complimentary bag of chips, which was a nice touch. When my order arrived, I was blown away by how delicious it was. Feelings of sadness? What sadness? I felt rejuvenated! Whatever was in that wrap lifted my spirits completely! I am back in action, ready to take on the world again. Pinhos has reignited my sense of purpose. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Pinhos! I will definitely be returning tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that...
