Jet Runway Cafe - Fort Lauderdale

Most of the tables were occupied, but the service was well-organized. The staff was very attentive and courteous, checking in on us several times to make sure everything was fine and to see if we needed anything. My kids were even given two frisbees, which was a nice touch. We didn’t have to wait too long for our food, and it was definitely worth the wait. The Philly cheese steak sub was fresh and hot, complete with the classic peppers, onions, and cheese. I had leftovers the next day, and it tasted even better! I also tried a piece of the crispy French toast, which was a delightful treat with a wonderful crunch. Both the sweet potato fries and regular fries were tasty. The grapefruit mimosa paired perfectly with my meal, and they even refilled the champagne, allowing me to enjoy two or three more mimosas if I wanted. I had unsweetened tea, which was fine. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and experience. I can't wait to return!

A hidden gem, especially for aviation enthusiasts! This restaurant offers a unique dining experience right at the edge of the runway of the executive airport in Pompano, where you can watch private jets take off and land. The menu features a great selection of delicious dishes at reasonable prices. Although the service could use some improvement—my salad dressing was forgotten, and there were a few minor issues with the bill—they were eventually resolved. Overall, it's a fantastic spot!
