Bidrage med feedbackI ordered the BBQ beef sandwich, but the meat was more like slices of roast beef filled with gristle and fat. It was tough to chew and completely bland, with no seasoning—just the chewy fat. The “barbecue” sauce on it seemed more like vinegar mixed with chunky salsa, and it tasted awful. I ended up sending it back. My wife ordered the conch fritters, which had an unusual color that didn’t seem right for conch fritters, so I didn’t even try them. After taking a bite, she nearly gagged. We took them apart but couldn’t identify what most of it was, especially the dark mass in the center. We sent those back as well, and the bartender admitted that the fritters were really bad. Service was disappointingly slow, especially given the few diners present. The bartender, with her over-the-top appearance, had a snippy attitude and even tried to blame us for the terrible food. She might be better suited for a job in the entertainment industry, but perhaps only on the less desirable shifts. If you’re in the area and just want a quick drink after work, this place might suffice, but there are plenty of better bars around. If you’re thinking about trying the food, consider yourself warned.
