Bidrage med feedbackWhat I can critique is the subpar food offered at rather high prices. I don't think $4.27 (which is $1 more than the menu price) for a mediocre Chicago-style hot dog and $2.27 (30 cents less than listed) for a small fountain soda are good deals at all. The Chicago dog came on a stale, tasteless bun that was missing the traditional celery salt. The onion rings were heavily breaded and soggy, and the burger meat tasted as bland as what you'd find at McDonald's. Once again, neither item was sold at its listed menu price, so what’s the point of having a printed menu? On the positive side, they offer a fairly extensive menu with plenty of choices, including a good selection of reasonably priced beers and wines. However, without any decent food to accompany those drinks, I wouldn’t be inclined to order any of them. When compared to burgers at places like ROK:BURGER, Le Tub, Jack’s Old Fashion, or even the now-defunct Burger King that used to be here, the quality and flavor fall significantly short of what anyone would consider acceptable. As for the Chicago hot dog, it’s hands down the worst I’ve ever had in the area, and I’ve tried most of the options available. I believe you can find much better burgers and hot dogs elsewhere. When it comes to food nearby, I’d much rather dine at Aruba, Athena, 3030 Ocean, or any of the other restaurants in Fort Lauderdale by the Sea.
Absolutely delicious FRESH burgers! You have the option to order them "green," which means they come wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun—perfect for low-carb diets! And I must say, the onion rings are simply to die for!
