I came to this restaurant for dinner to watch the game, but I was very disappointed. To start, I was given a roll-up with a dirty fork that clearly hadn't been disinfected. After we ordered our food, it took over 40 minutes to receive it, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. My husband asked for his burger to be cooked medium-well, but it was almost rare. The chicken in the buffalo chicken sandwich was raw. It was very unsafe. When we sent the food back, a chef came out and gave us dirty looks. The manager, who was a bigger man, spoke to the bartenders in a disrespectful way. I can't believe the employees work for him after seeing how he treats them. I definitely don't recommend this place to anyone. I will regret coming here.
We loved it! Most beautiful building on Las Olas. The bar downstairs had live music, and upstairs had a DJ. They even had a cool bar that looked out over the street. Place reminded us of NOLA. Service was great, we had Bianca and she recommended everything for us and the food was delicious. After dinner we went upstairs and finished the night off. We will definitely be back. Swore I saw a few celebrities there.
The best view opens from the balcony, from the second floor. This is good if you are 2-3 people and you do not need a large table. The bartender is very pleasant and quickly serves drinks
I never leave bad reviews and always give the benefit of the doubt to restaurants, especially in these times, however our poor experience here was completely avoidable and attributable to upper management.Our server Genesis was nice and the food was fair enough. The real issue is with management. We ordered an appetizer of wings during happy hour and it slipped our servers mind to put the order in; after asking how much longer it would be, she mentioned that she would go back and out the order in. Ultimately she came back and said that the manager would not allow her to give us the happy hour price, since it was no longer happy hour, even though our waitress assured him that we ordered it during happy hour. We then saw the manager walk by the table, I tried to call him over to ask about the situation, and he would not speak with us. Additionally someone in our party ordered a soup that did not arrive until after everyone finished their entrees, and when it finally came it was cold and the cheese bread with it had congealed into a chewy stale mess.The $8 we should have saved and the late soup is not a huge deal, but for a manager to blatantly refuse to take simple steps to accommodate a situation caused solely by his own restaurant shows just how much management really cares about their customers. He would not even stop at the table to offer us any kind of explanation or apology. It was early in the evening and not busy at all either. Certainly would not give my money to this establishment again. Plenty of better restaurants in the area that actually care about making a positive customer experience.
