Perkins Bakery - Fort Dodge

Restaurant was clean and busy, but not packed. Waiting the employees were all very gracious. Started with strawberries and cream warpers, all I can say here is yum yum yum! Our meals were the breakfast castle and the hearty man Combo. All were delicious and fresh and plentiful. I'm sure I'm back.

Parking next door at the truck stop and went about 15 minutes before closing. Has not caught his name, but the host was extremely professional and polite and asked if I would like to sit without even as much as a dirty look for coming in so late. Ordered food to go and he was still nice and thoughtful asking if I had a piece of cake or a drink while I wait. Excellent customer service and the steak phonet he recommended was amazing.

The food was delicious! We had the Vienna French Toast and other breakfast items. Service was friendly and good.

I'm from Florida. Perkins are everywhere. I know a chain restaurant and you know what you're gonna get. But I have to say the Perkins in Fort Dodge was a step above what I did with a Perkins. Service was quickly attentive my coffee cup never under half lol. The food was about what I expected at a Perkin. Maybe it was the great waiting staff, but the food was excellent. Sometimes confidentiality is the best option

This place was great. I loved the waiter. He made us feel welcomed and we had a religious person in the group who couldn't eat a certain type of meat, he made it totally easy for us to really enjoy this place. Inwould recommend coming to this whenever you go through Fort Dodge Iowa.
