Fort Davis Drug Store

Wasn't quite what we expected but we were only going to be there to sleep so we made the best of it. Glad we didn't plan on having dinner there since they weren't open nor were they for breakfast when we checked out. There were serving ice cream the day we checked in. I heard someone ask if they were gonna be open for dinner the next day to which the girl said she was pretty sure they would be but didn't sound convinced. So call before you go. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of organization around there. The room seemed clean, there was powder residue in the tub so I guess that's a good sign? Just not rinsed well. But while laying in in the tub and looking up you could see a lot of soap scum on the walls. The bathroom smelled like propane, strongly. The room was dimly lit and AC units had not been turned on before getting there (there were two) Luckily it cooled down by the time we got back to the room after venturing out. The beds were comfy enough. There was only parking along the street but we were able to find a spot.

I've been here before and while the wait was long it was worth it. Heard they were under new management/ownership. Place looks totally different. Ordered two sandwiches and sides. Waited over 2 hours for the food and it was terrible. The chicken fried steak was burned and the chicken sandwich was cold with bones. Don't waste your time or money. I expected more for $50 sandwiches.

Very dirty place. I have been coming for years and I'm disgusting by the condition it's in from just 2 years ago. Restaurant is gone so don't waste your time.

Way overpriced for the amount of food you receive. We just ended up having a small salad, the homemade dressing was very good. Not many options for places to eat in Ft. Davis.

Service was slow, real slow, we had a party of 5, by the time our last plate came out, the first person eating was done, The ice cream waa good, pulled pork was made days before, dry, life-less, no bbq souse inside, frys were good . for being frozen frys. onin rings were thin not fryed well, I have no reason to go there again.
