Walrus Ice Cream - Fort Collins

Love this locally owned ice cream????shop! I took my dad to Walrus for a sweet treat on Father 's Day. When I went to pay, we were pleasantly surprised when they said scoops for dads were complimentary today! P.S. If you 're brave enough, try therotating 'Joke Flavor '. Today 's selection: #DadBOD

This popular ice cream place serves homemade stale ice cream and has won many awards come on the way. The line was long but worth the wait.

A refreshing escape from the heat of Colorado! This charming ice cream shop is located right in the heart of downtown Fort Collins. The staff, mostly college students, are attentive, quick, and always wear a smile. I absolutely loved this place! They offer a wide variety of flavors, and you can choose between a cone or a cup. There’s also plenty of seating inside for an ice cream shop.

This place offers great ice cream and has ample seating both indoors and outdoors. I stopped by after enjoying some Mexican food for dinner nearby. They have a wide variety of hand-dipped ice cream flavors. While there aren't any particularly unique options, you'll find plenty of classic flavors that are bound to satisfy everyone in your group. The waffle cone I had tasted more like a sugar cone, but then again, I’m not an expert on cones. In the photo, you can see the Dutch chocolate served in a small waffle cone.

We had a wonderful experience at the Walrus during our visits while in Fort Collins in September 2022. Our favorite treat was the grasshopper pie (as shown in the photo). The service was friendly, the location downtown is fantastic, and the ice cream was absolutely delicious!
