Bidrage med feedbackWe took a day trip from Edinburgh to Loch Ness, passing through the Cairngorms National Park. During our visit, we decided not to go on a cruise on the Loch, as we wanted to explore the area instead. We stopped at a fish and chip shop in the village, and afterwards, we headed down to the waterfront to take some photos of the Loch.
I was initially unsure about visiting this place due to the reviews, but I'm so glad we did! This was the best fish and chips we had throughout our entire stay in Scotland! Everything was prepared fresh and to order. The gentleman who served us was friendly and even apologized for the wait since we were behind a large family order. We had a lovely table by the canal, which created a wonderful atmosphere as the sun set.
I visited this restaurant before my Loch Ness cruise, and I have to say, it serves the best fish and chips I've ever had. The chef prepares everything right on the spot, ensuring it's incredibly fresh. I would definitely love to come back in the future!
Visited last week. Thought as it was a Fish n Chip shop they wouldn't be serving Frozen Chips, totally not what you'd expect to get from a traditional Scottish Chip Shop. You're giving good auld Scottish chips a very bad name. Owner, stop being lazy and start using fresh potatoes.
Felt rather scammed as there’s a big sign outside saying “Traditional Fish and Chips” but it was factory-made fish and chips cooked from frozen. Not traditional to my understanding. If you’re a tourist reading this, try to find a proper chippy to taste the real thing.
