Copacabana Beer - Formosa

I really enjoyed my dinner at Copacabana Beer. The service was very good, very thoughtful, good price for a chopp. We ordered a fish with shrimp and it was a lot of food. They should have more options with vegetables.

I visited here in early November. The restaurant is centrally located and menu good. The service was excellent - the staff serve your food to you from bowls when you have finished your first serving. The food was ok - basic but not awful. Average. The restaurant is decorated nicely and overlooking the beach and a park. I'd go back.

Loved they had the same seafood platter option for 2 or 3 people, and is generously served. Delicious food. Our waitres, Agatha, was the best we had in years. The decor is a little simple but reflects the island. And bathrooms are cleaner and more elegants than the one at my hotel's luxury suit. Don't forget to try their "Caipirinhas" with fruits

The 'moqueca de peixe' is a must! Same goes for the "amarula fashion", a drink that mixes amarula and 'maracuja' (passion fruit). Simply delicious! And the prices are quite fair.

On Ilhabela for xmas week with family from Brasil and Bermuda - 9 total - walking around the charming Ponta das Letras. Stopped here because the decor looked good and the AC was blasting. Beer was icy cold and quickly delivered along with English menus for the gringos by a smiling and friendly waitress. Nice salgados - pastels, fries, fried cassava -great mixed salad. Highlights were large portions of fried fish with tiny shrimps and capers and beef milanesa (scallopine of beef breaded and fried with tomato and cheese sauce) with rice, beans, and more french fries.All served table side from large platers and more than the group could consume.The food was all very tasty - slightly salty in the good Brazilian tradition - but high quality all around.Finished with cafezinhos and no rush to get us out.About US$260 (tip included) for a party of nine was very good value. I would definitely return.
