Baraonda - FORMIA

I have very happy memories of this place. My wife and I visited this great little bar in 2013 when we had been travelling throughout Europe for several months and Gaeta was the last place to visit before heading home. It was a very cold evening when we arrived in Gaeta and we discovered this little gem because it was near the hotel where we were staying. We wandered in and the place was empty(in Italy people dine out very late). The barman was very friendly and the place seemed to have a really nice atmosphere. We ordered a couple of burgers and chips and the burger turned out to be one of the best I have ever eaten. The beer was great and we stayed on for a good few more hours drinking and having a great time as the place started filling up and the music got going. A great night!
