The Cross House Inn - Formby

The new outside area is great with several booths all with heaters and a large canopy heater area for larger tables. Drinks range has improved too. A great pub to watch the match with plenty of screens. Food looks good but haven’t sampled the new menu yet.

Two friends and myself visited this pub today for the first time. I was accompanied by my guide dog and my two companions were also severely visually impaired using white canes for mobility. The staff were just wonderful dealing with blind people. They were incredibly empathic and very helpful. Sam, one of the bar staff gave my guide dog 2 Boneo treats. The menu was read to us. Nikki helped myself and a friend in the right direction to the loos. And they even took the time and the trouble to walk us around to the bus, stop and cross me over to the bus stop on the other side of a very busy main road. I cannot praise Nikki and Sam enough. If I could give more stars I would. It’s just a pity five stars is the optimum score. I really recommend the pub. The food is absolutely lovely and the drinks also. Very reasonably priced. Lovely ambience and fantastic staff. I can’t say enough positive things.

I could not recommend the cross house enough for a family celebration. when I called to make the booking, it was very personalized and they had arrangements for birthday balloons and banners that surprised and thrilled my son. the service was friendly and supervised for everything we wanted. eating was nice we recommend frequent formby facilities the cross house frequently and thoroughly

I stayed at this restaurant with my dog, Storm, in our campervan. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed a few drinks. The management and staff were attentive and friendly. What was most important to me was that the restaurant is fully dog-friendly.

My partner and I enjoy exploring different restaurants for lunch, and we recently discovered a new favorite spot! Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the girl working behind the bar, who informed us that we could choose any available seat. The restaurant's decor is beautiful and quirky, with an inviting outdoor seating area as well. Our food arrived hot and was absolutely delicious. For starters, we ordered the sharing nachos with an extra topping of BBQ pulled pork, and it was huge - easily enough for three people. The pulled pork was especially outstanding. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience, we will definitely be returning.
