Absolutely great food and service! Salsa bar was very cool. I would recommend this place for anyone coming to town.

Our order: chicken and beef tongue tacos, pollo a la diabla The chicken was straight fire, literally and figuratively. I rarely finish my side rice+beans+tortilla, but this fiery pile was a no-can-do. Amidst all that heat, the tomato and garlic managed to shine through. The beef tongue tacos were better than our local shops (and we live in an abundance of taquerias . The tacos are paired with green salsa. Hearty portions. Self serve salsa, cilantro, onions etc. Complimentary salsa and chips. Reasons why I am knocking off a star: 1 very very slow service (we waited for over 30min for the food and were the only customers for a while? ; 2 quite a few menu items were unavailable, including horchata. The server told me that they just hired a new chef that makes posole and other Mexican soups to add to the current menu. Great stop in Forks to get munchies before/after exploring the west of Olympic NPS.

Yummy burritos and fresh salsa : They had a vegetarian burrito and it was very good, which is sometimes hard to find in small towns!

I haven't been to many restaurants in forks but this one is definitely one of the better ones. The tamales were so delicious as well as the rice. My friend ordered the food in the second photo and she loved it as well. Will definitely be coming back! :
