Caffrey's - Forked River

Went WAY DOWN HILL. Has been one of the best meals in South Jersey, forever. Those days are over. After several years of getting the prime rib a few times a month, now it 's just fat and flavorless. What a shame that they think it meets their standards and serves their reputation. I 've been inspecting South Jesrey restaurants for the government, for 20 years, and this place has always been my go to . But at this point, I won 't go hack again. The quality and attention to standards are gone.

We love the backyard. The prices are perfect. The food is great. My husband loves the chicken and waffle pizza .. sounds strange but it is good. They also have good seafood. We enjoy getting the steamed clams. The drinks and food are good prices. The servers are friendly, so are the bouncers, and bartenders. They also have fun games in the backyard.

We stopped in for a quick bite of apps and drinks. We ordered a few different apps and shared them and they were all great.The waitress was very accommodating, answered all of our questions and was very attentive.

I usually love this place ! My burger tonight was totally not good what so ever . I almost feel sick now after eating it!!! I want to give you guys another chance .

Nice tavern. Food portions were a nice size and tasty. Staff very friendly and good service. The noise level was loud, which made it a bit difficult to have a conversation, do to the high ceiling.
