When we finally placed our food order, she walked away before we were finished. Unsurprisingly, our order was incorrect, and the French fries were cold. My burger, which was supposed to be a hamburger topped with a bratwurst patty, was so tough it was like chewing on leather. I even asked her beforehand if she was too busy for us to eat there, and she assured me it would be fine. Now I really wish we had chosen a different place. The food was the worst I've had, and a complete waste of money. The waitress was an older woman in her mid-50s, and it was clear she had patrons from the bar cleaning tables for her while she complained about being overwhelmed. When we asked for the check, her only response was, "Yeah, I know." After about five minutes, I went up to the bar to ask again, and she said someone else was preparing it for us. To cap it all off, the tip I left her was a penny, which those in the food service industry know represents truly awful service—and the food was right there with it. I will never return.
