Wings Hut - Forest Park

I was a bit hesitant about visiting this restaurant because I had never been there before and it was in a part of the city I don't frequent. But let me tell you, I’m so glad we decided to stop by! The Philly cheesesteaks were out of this world, and the wings were the best we've ever had! We were among the last customers of the night, and I can confidently say we’ll definitely be returning!

It was my first time visiting this restaurant in person. I had been ordering through DoorDash for a while, but now that I have a car, I decided to check it out. The location was very clean and well-kept, and the food was just as delicious as I remember!

I really enjoyed the food; it was excellent. The hot wings were particularly tasty. However, I did encounter one issue. I requested hot sauce, but the staff member said that the mild sauce was the same as the hot sauce. I explained that there is a clear difference between the mild and spicy sauces, and I should receive what I ordered rather than what they chose to give me. That was the only problem I faced. Luckily, I was able to get my extra hot sauce on my chicken wings in the end, and they were delicious. Thank you!

The wings are regular (good and the service is regular (okay but what I LOVE is the obscene amount of celery they give with wings. It is an appetizer itself:

It’s clear that they don’t understand what braised wings are. The staff kept insisting that only Chinese stores sell them and that it’s the cooking method that defines braising. Obviously, they’re mistaken; it’s actually a sauce that’s used on the chicken. Plus, they had a bit of an attitude about it. This is why I gave them only 3 stars.
