Goldyburgers - Forest Park

The restaurant could use some updates. The burger was fine, but since I don't drink, I don't think I'll be returning.

My wife and I visited for burgers, and I’m happy to report that nothing has changed. I used to come here with my dad from 1966 to 1969. We would walk up the street from our home every Friday night to enjoy burgers. It’s great to see that the place has remained the same, as it brought back some wonderful memories for me.

This place was pretty empty when we arrived, and it has an old-fashioned bar vibe that feels outdated. I came here for a burger, which was decent but nothing to write home about; I've definitely had better elsewhere. We also tried the cheese balls and wings, which were just average—typical bar food, really. The drinks were fine, too. The service was good since we were the only ones in the bar. Overall, it was just okay. Our total was $60 for two burgers, cheese balls, eight wings, and two drinks. Also, be aware that they only accept cash, but there is an ATM on-site.

Great hamburgers, and Mike is a very accommodating host.

Got the blue cheese burger. Cooked really well, tasty, juicy and the bacon was great! Friendly and fast service
