The Miners Arms - Forest of Dean

They looked after 14 of us (4 families) in a delightfully friendly way. Food was simple but delicious, very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. They sat us on a long table (kids one end adults the other) and were very attentive and helpful. Happy to have well behaved dogs too.

We enjoyed an excellent meal whilst walking in the area. Very cosy with the fires lit. Staff were very welcoming.

Great pub made to feel very welcome by everyone and loved the bird photos on the wall, enjoyed the local cider too.

This place has it all. Lovely friendly locals amidst a dog owners paradise. Plenty of room outside to enjoy a drink and the food wow. We ordered King prawns and Wild boar pate for starters and this did not disappoint. The main courses were Lamb shank and sirloin steak and the chef knows how to cook meat to perfection.
