Shirleys Family Diner - Forest City

Shirley offers food to go and can cater parties. Her food was the perfect package addition to our daughter 's birthday paint party at the neighboring art studio.After a few visits and now my daughter 's party, my conclusion is the food is pretty good. Typical small town diner and one that our small town needs. Prices are fair, especially for breakfast food.The waitress we 've had nearly each time we are in there is the owner. She 's nice once you get to know her. This is very much a place for the locals and they have their regular customers. As a newcomer or visitor it can seem a bit awkward walking in there but don 't let that deter you.

I never had a bad meal there. Breakfast and lunch. Delicious! They give you a lot of food for a reasonable price. I usually end up taking some home.

Great place to get lunch during the day, quick time on take outs. The cheese burger salad is the BOMB!!Highly recommended if you going through town and looking for a bite to eat.

Amazing place great food.. very dark interior so if your don't like dark places . This isn't it. But wonderful food and great service
