Zaky Mediterranean Grill - Fontana

BEWARE!! FOOD POISONING!!I ordered via DoorDash today and starting getting violent diarrhea an hour after eating their chicken schwarma.This was the only thing I ate today. I haven’t had food poisoning in over a decade and today I finally got it.This is very problematic and it seems as if the restaurant has gotten other poor recent reviews about unsanitary conditions and unsafe storage of food. I hope they see these reviews because I wouldn’t wish food poisoning on anyone.

We went to have dinner Friday because my husband was craving Greek food the minute we walked in we felt this negativity in the restaurant it was dirty. The tables were dirty. The floor was dirty. When we started ordering the food we noticed the attitude from the ladies that work there. Specially the older lady I think she’s a cook or cashier. She has the most unfriendly personality that I literally ft like leaving but my husband really wanted to eat there. The service was horrible. I asked her questions because my husband has to eat a certain way so I was asking her very nice what kind of oil and salt they used they were both very rude and then we got our drink from the fountain machine and my husband drank from it and we didn’t notice at the end of the cup. There was some kind of dead bugs or something. It was disgusting and when I told the lady she gave me attitude, I can tell they’re so unhappy working there. Whoever the owner is I recommend they change staff maybe you can get more customers if you have better people working there I am for sure not going back there.

Not sure if ac didn’t work or if owner is just very cheap but it was hotter inside than outside an that say something it was 100 degrees outside for the food it wasnt bad tasting the chicken was just very dry and overcooked hope for a better experience the next timeFood: 3/5

I have rated customer service 2 stars only because I liked the new guy who was very nervous and the more experienced worker who tried to help the new guy out. The two ladies who worked with the food were very rude to both the new guy and my husband and I. They were not pleasant at all,didn't try to explain the menu( as we were new to this place) they could clearly see we didn't know what to order and wanted suggestions on what's good. We also apologized and mentioned we were first time customers there and the lady just looked at us and walked away leaving everything up to the new guy who was totally confused. As soon as I got home my husband and I checked the reviews on this place and saw ..yup ! It's not just us. The food wasn't even worth the money we spent. Atleast if they change their attitude towards the customers they might have more customers. We definitely won't be back!

Not bad and not great. Great concept. Most side options were sauces. Definitely not a good option if your indecisive or like to take your time. They seem to rush you or appear annoyed however, I do believe it was just a culture difference. My meat was a bit overcooked.Food: 3/5
